Yes. Used as directed Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner is suitable for use on all non-porous hard surfaces in Bathrooms including, plastics, enamel, glass, tiles and chrome. We do not recommend used on limestone and marble or polished, oiled or varnished wood. If in doubt, always test on an inconspicuous area first. Always follow the directions on the label.

Yes. The product has been tested against the virus called SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. The product has been independently tested by expert virologists using the latest European virus test protocols (called EN 14476:2013+A2:2019 and NEN 14675) to measure its antiviral performance. The results from these tests have clearly demonstrated that Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner is highly effective against Coronaviruses, specifically the virus called SARS-CoV-2.
This means that only 0.01% of the test organisms survived after treatment with Hycolin Bathroom Cleaner. In reality the real number is more like 0.001% to 0.0001% depending on the test being performed. Either way this result is considered to be a satisfactory level of disinfection for general domestic hygiene.
For thorough disinfection Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner should be left to act for a minimum of 5 minutes after application to the surface. After this time wipe the treated surface with a clean, damp cloth or rinse with fresh water. The surface is now disinfected and more hygienic.
No. The function of this product is to quickly and effectively clean and disinfect hygiene-critical surfaces in your bathroom. The product will not remain on treated surfaces. Periodic cleaning with Hycolin is key to maintain high standards of hygiene.
For the best hygiene results: 1. Apply the Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner, applying a generous covering of foam on all surfaces and work into the surface with a cloth or sponge. 2. Leave to act for 5 minutes. 3. Rinse off with fresh water. 4. For enhanced hygiene, after cleaning reapply a light covering of Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner and again, allow to dwell for 5 minutes. 5. The rinse off and leave to air dry.
Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner should form part of your regular household hygiene regime. This is especially important in high usage areas such as worktops, cupboard door handles and drawers. In homes where people are sick or especially vulnerable, more frequent cleaning is recommended.

Yes. Hycolin Antiviral Bathroom Cleaner is suitable for use on chrome and stainless steel. We recommend that other surfaces should be tested on an inconspicuous area first in order to check for incompatibility.
Follow instructions on the label – wash skin thoroughly in plenty of water and dry hands thoroughly. If you get it in your eyes, then rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if you’re wearing them and it’s safe to do so and rinse for a few minutes. Normally this is enough but if eye irritation persists, we recommend you seek medical advice.
